The Winner Stood Them All

Reveille lives in his dreams and never stops dreaming. He is a man of prose (or so he claims). He sees through the agony of the paupers, the howling cries of unwanted babies, the wrath of nature and the quagmires where the undefended have found their place in. He believed in the piety of human nature and was decieved. He is a married man yet ”ostracized” by his wife for showing her his rage. He has a daughter---a priceless gem yet perceived as having a rowdy nature. He is a true-blue Cabadbaranon and he wishes to imprint his name into its supposed milestones. He is a law dummy-a dupe of its own kind. He is dogged to gain entry into the foreign service at all costs. He is a prisoner of his own visions. He is alone and mesirable in a dream that is yet to unfold.
